The program is more than worth the money. I'm currently using it for my new projects. If I have any problems, the development team is helpful and extremely solution-oriented. The quality and user-friendliness of the program are very good. The possibilities are endless, and I save a lot of time compared to creating lens flares in an external editor. One of my best add-ons.

One of the most usefull and creative addon I ever bought!

The settings panel is so clear and well designed that it takes only a few minutes to understand how to play around with the settings.

From the minimal settings to the most exagerated ones your scenes will never look the same.

It is not only about adding flares. Just trying the presets, you feel your creativity explode because you can't stop imagine scenes or worlds that would fit with the ambiance.

I had a look at the nodes and realized I will never have enough brains to create something like this :D So much work for the author, so much fun for the user, this addon definitely worth the price!

Flared 2 is a game changer with its automatic obstacle detection.If you are in a hurry, just use one of the massive presets. Easy to use. Now even works with Empties instead of Lights.

Flared 2 is greatly improved as a geometry node setup, is much nicer to use, and has many more options that can be adjusted in the modifier window. The creator is super helpful and offers fast support.

Great product! I particularly love the auto-occlusion feature. The fact that I can craft my own presets and see everything in real time is also awesome :)

If you're on the fence, I highly recommend this add-on. It allows you to handle optical player effects in Blender all in one go, greatly improving your workflow. It's also incredibly helpful for increasing the density of your scenes. A big round of applause to the creator!

I wish I could give this more stars! I am not exagerrating when I say this has changed my life. I'm forever looking for little touches to add realism to my renders and animations and Flared does exactly that. Its super easy to use and I've not noticed any increased render times. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

cool addon and works great in vanilla blender, I am a bit disappointed it isn't compatible with KCycles for the improved speed. When rendering it in kcycles, all of the flare elements lose their transparency and you don't see the rest of the scene

you just made my trip to photoshop redundant. thank you this was worth every single penny. when i can reduce the amount of software and achieve artwork that I'm happy with genuinely happy with, then that's a win for me. so instead of making my own (of which i could certainly do) but i wont so please keep up the work and TAKE MORE of my money lol :) Great job

I am thinking about using this addon for my photography work as well.

They say it is designed for Eevee, but it looks pretty amazing in Cycles too, as long as you crank up the transparent light paths.

Agree with the sea of 5-stars reviews here, super good looking lens flares, high level of customization, easy to use and rock solid performance. One of the best addons on the market imho. Impressive!

Before I got the Standard and love to use in my work and of course also got the Flared XT Extended and again these new templates bring amazing advantage.

It's just great for everything Flare related. I'm probably gonna get the XT edition soon, too. Only not great thing is that when working with Cycles and you're moving all your flares from multiple cameras to a separate Eevee scene, you can partially see other flares from inactive cameras as almost smudges on the screen. A way to fix this would be to make all flares from inactive cameras invisible in the render, I think that would be a good idea.

Other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase, great work!

This addon is the BEST for lens flares! I am using it for Archviz projects...soo much better than adding one in post in PS. The only request I have is to make allow for adding separate camera / light sources instead of linking flares thru active camera. Keep up the great work!

This is wonderful, as a background artist I will use this a lot in the future. I don't know flare can make your scene more pretty after I find this flared addon. I really hope there will be more update in the future like more flare because I really like it.

What is not immediately obvious is the developer's amazing customer care and support. Definitely a second 5 stars! Is that a thing? Anyway, the developer was responsive and thoughtful in their message reply and very honest. Even telling me, this product may not be what I am looking for and why. The developer continued our conversation for a few rounds. With that kind of patience and kindness, I knew that whether I used Flared in this project or the future, I would be a satisfied customer.

I've been using this for a long time now. It's wonderful, and the dedication and passion of the developers shines through. All I miss now are some 1990s flares such as those in Babylon 5 and the like. :)

Great addon simple to use and the flares look amazing! But if post processing effects like Bloom or Motion Blur are applied in EEVEE, Blender shuts down while rendering. Took me a while to figure this out but otherwise great work! Keep it going.

Oh wow. This is really nice, and will keep me from having to go into my other video editor, I'm really trying to do everything in Blender, and this is super simple to set up, there is a lot of variety, you can use multiple flares, so you can get a lot of interaction of your light sources, I even appreciate the focal length control isn't called something else :) I'm very impressed.

I bought Glared right after when it came out and I used it in whatever scene which has to have a realistic look. There were some conversations about some bugs with Cycles at the beginning but it looked really good. Now with Glared 2 it's even better. Thank you for your work, it's amazing!

Great stuff it brings a easy to use composit experience. Its especially great to get a fast cool looking image with out to much knowledge. i did have a little problem but the addon creator send me a personal video to help me out.

Yes another great effect from this creator. And both smart as well as generous to give existing Flared clients this addon for free the first days. Addons like this really make the difference between having a nice scene and a scene with character and cinematic feel. Also love the Aberration and Vignette effects added to the addon!
